Fury and Fire

Robbin Ahrold

If you were the warm and the swell of the ocean,

If you were the sea, and I were the sky

And in my clouds were a finger of lightning

Fury and fire to light up your tide.

And in your eyes the lightning reflected

Silver on blue, and gold on the shore

And how many times the tempest has tossed me

And how many times I've wanted it more.

Hold me my love, and we’ll sing an anthem

Our voices together, our hunger so strong

The crash of the thunder rolls all a-round us,

Fury and fire, and love is the song

Fury and fire, and love is the song

Fury and fire, and love is the song

About the song
